Who we are

As a psychodynamic and relational mental health practice, we partner with you in building better relationships with yourself and others. Our goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and confident to be your true self.

Together, we face life's challenges with compassion and clinically-effective approaches encouraging growth, connection, and adaptability. It's never too late to start.

The work of the mature person is to carry grief in one hand and gratitude in the other and to be stretched large by them. How much sorrow can I hold? That’s how much gratitude I can give. If I carry only grief, I’ll bend toward cynicism and despair. If I have only gratitude, I’ll become saccharine and won’t develop much compassion for other people’s suffering. Grief keeps the heart fluid and soft, which helps make compassion possible.

Our Story

Founders, Lexi and Conner, created Madrona Therapy Group with the vision to facilitate a nurturing and supportive environment where both clients and clinicians can thrive in their own unique and respective ways. Their dedication to fostering personal growth and professional development is at the heart of the organization’s mission.

Lexi and Conner both attended The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, located in the picturesque Pacific Northwest, where they dedicated nearly a decade to developing their own individual practices. After deciding to relocate to the vibrant and sunny landscape of Southern California, they envisioned creating a meaningful connection between the two regions. They discovered a common thread reflected in the coastal nature experience that embodies growth, resilience, and beauty, which they deeply appreciated and aspire to integrate into their work.
